a web server is a program that using the silent/server model and the WWW,s HTTP, serves the file that form web pages to web users. every computer on the internet that contains a web site must have a web server program. Two leading web servers are Apache, the most wildly-installer web server, and Microsoft internet information server(LLS) other web server including novell's web server for users of its wetware operating system and IBM'S family of lots Domino servers, primarly for IBM's OS/390 and OS/400 custumers.

Different Search Engine Approaches

  1. Major search engines such as Google,Yahoo,Alta vista and Lycos index the large portion of the web and provide results that can run for pages and consequently owner whelm the user.

  3. Ask jeers (www.ask,com) provides a Gena rod search of the web but allows you to enter a search request in natural language ,such as "what's the wether in seattle to day?
  4. special tool and some major web sites such as yahoo,let you use a number of search engines at the same and compile result in a single list.
